Who are we
Mane Legal & Data Consultancy is an Independent Data Controller of the contact data it holds and a Data Processor for all other data which it receives from Clients
Types of data processed
Basic personal data such as: name and job title
Contact information such as: telephone number and email address
Other types of data: which may be provided to us by Clients during the provision of our services however, we will always refuse to process excess data in line with the data minimisation principle
Our purposes for processing
Customer service and administration: where you submit any questions to us via email or request something via our webform, we will use the data you have provided in order to contact you about your query
Provision of our services: we may process personal data in order to fulfil our contractual obligations to you
Marketing: we may process personal data in order to tell you about our products and services which may be of interest to you, provided we have your consent or in some cases where we are able to rely on our legitimate interests
How do we obtain your data
Directly from yourselves: when you contact us via email, submit your data on our webform or interact with us at an event
Third party and publicly available sources: we may collect your details in order to reach out to you about the services we provide if we believe this to be of interest to you
Third party data sharing
We use a third party for storage purposes to host the data which you provide to us to fulfil our contractual obligations to you
Data retention
For personal data of which we are a Data Processor, we retain personal data for the duration of our service contract and delete the data within 30 days of the termination date or sooner if the client requests deletion at an earlier date.
For contact data of which we are an Independent Data Controller, we delete the data 6 months post collection or sooner if the data subject makes a right to erasure request as we would have no overriding interest to retain this data
